Hi guys! Yeah ummm, it's the serious dudder here again, hahas, anyway wanted to blog this to tell everyone Jia You jia you jia you for exams! They start next week (yes, next week if some of you blind folks haven't been looking at the calendar). Anyway some pre stuff to tell you guys
For those of you taking Chinese tomorrow. Ok, number 1) DON'T FREAK OUT. No matter how shitty difficult and out of this world the passage is, usually questions require 1) mere copying, 2) pretty short and concise answers. It's just like English Comprehension, only a bit more... naggy I guess? Yep, and remember to keep your cool at all times. Read the frikkin passage TWICE and find the questions by paragraphs. That should about do the trick.
2) REMEMBER YOUR FORMAT FOR LETTER WRITING!! Plus, if you have an interest for a certain question, but you aren't sure of the format, please please don't risk it and throw away your marks. The informal one may have lack of things for you to write, but if you can secure full marks for formatting, you're on your way to getting an A!
3) ALWAYS CHECK YOUR DICTIONARY FOR WORDS YOU'RE NOT SURE! They help, alot. Trust me, haha =P 4) TAKE A BREATHER! Chinese really isn't that difficult if you sit down, relax and focus your mind to it. Let the words come to you like you're reading an English text or something, don't treat it like it's some "foreign-i-don't-want-to-touch-you" germ haha. Jia you!!

Okay, I'm going to be a leetle more naggy here, for everyone taking CHEMISTRY on Tuesday!
1) SLEEP EARLY THE NIGHT BEFORE. Omg please do that, you wouldn't want to fall asleep and have your face soaked in Hydrochloric acid before you know it, or end up titrating some weird chemical with sodium hydroxide.
2) REMEMBER YOUR SEATING PLANS! Well... So the examiner doesn't find fault with you and kena you minus marks for it.
3) Remember to wash your apparatus thoroughly!! You never know... the previous lot might just sabo us.. Haha kidding la =P
4) FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS so you don't end up doing the wrong things 5) Write down stuff you think/you hypothesise... Well that's something Mrs Choo (for those of us in Mrs Choo's classes), told us to do for QA. You know when they ask to add sodium hydroxide and then in excess, we're kind of like supposed to write down "cation test" so that we can remember and all that crap, and do stuff correctly. It might help for you guys, just a helpful tip xD
And... for the last reminder (*groan*): BRING YOUR ENTRY PROOF AND I/C... Trust me, you don't want to get a scolding from Ms Koh and ruin your mood for exams. That's the suckiest thing to screw up on 'O' Levels. Feel free to add anymore to this post! :D :D Jia you everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D
